Lahti Venture Program Has Officially Kicked Off
On October 2nd, we at Nexpert had the pleasure of joining the kickoff for Lahti Venture Program 2025. The day began with introductions between students, mentors, and company partners. Together with SansOx, we presented our challenges to the teams – real business cases that will guide their work throughout the program.
For Nexpert, this is a natural fit. Our mission is to simplify complex processes and help organizations work smarter, whether through lean thinking, digital tools, or better collaboration structures. Sharing our challenge with the students is not only about solving a problem. It’s about giving them the opportunity to experience how structured problem-solving and clear processes create real impact.
In the afternoon, we shifted focus to teamwork. The students completed the Belbin Team Roles test, which helps identify individual strengths and how they complement each other. This exercise mirrors one of our own core beliefs at Nexpert: diverse skills and perspectives are the foundation for successful collaboration.
We also walked through the program’s timeline using a Miro board, aligning on the steps ahead and setting expectations for the coming weeks. By the end of the day, the energy was tangible. The student teams are engaged, proactive, and ready to tackle challenges head-on.
We’re excited to see what these groups will achieve, and equally excited to guide them along the way. For us, this program is more than mentorship. This is a chance to co-create solutions, demonstrate the value of simplifying complexity, and inspire the next generation of problem-solvers.
